Haunted House

Date: 9th May '08 (Friday)

Time: officially at 1pm. it'll last a few hours.

Place: the meeting point is at our classroom. dharlynnie is trying to get the pa room for us

ITEMS NEEDED:

1. Face paint (red and white. other colours are OK if you have them)

2. Make-up

3. White dresses or gowns (make sure they can fit an average 14-year-old)

4. Long black cloaks

5. Torchlights and batteries (we want to do a count)

6. Dolls

7. Tape/Masking tape/Duct tape

8. Fake knives, made of cardboard (bring scissors etc or paint if you want to use one of the cardboard we have. it's limited supply tho. you can always wrap it up with aluminium foil)

9. Dresses for girls

10. Scary portraits (downloadable off the net. Artistic ppl can draw if you want.)

11. Music (we'll look around for a radio. anyone knows how to play scary music on the piano?)

12. Costumes.

Bring at least one or two items and contribute.

PLAN:

1. Experiment on make-up and clothes

2. Count all our stuff

3. Try out the music etc.

If you pass Mrs Chu, ask her about the skeleton in her class, whether we can borrow it.

Questions:

1. What do we wear?

We're going to try out the costumes for the "scary people". For the others, bring your plain clothes and clothes for our "story". We want to see whether you can blend in the darkness or you stand out like a green leaf in Antarctica.

2. I need to leave early!

SMS class comm you're not coming. Then, try to come next week so we can try the clothes and stuff on you. Tuesday preferably.

Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Hi 2/1!

Don't blame me if I forever mispell or pronounce these few words wrongly. The Chinese New Year decorations are due this Friday, missies, and I think that we're going to rock the place down! (so much for humbleness) But no, seriously. Over the next few days, we're going to take little baby steps to decorate the lockers, the windows, the noticeboard and ultimately the class. When you go to school tomorrow, and if nobody has touched the whiteboard, you'll see the layout planned by your dear class committee for Chinese New Year! Admittedly, it's a tad messy but any person would make sense of it. I think.

So, thank you those kind souls who helped us on Friday, most especially Ping En, Sarah and Kelly who stayed until 3pm just to decorate the locker! On Monday, if you see them, THANK THEM!!! And to show your marvelous gratitude, IF you can, please HELP OUT over the next few days!

I know everybody's hair is slowly turning grey and shadows are repeatedly under our eyes as we struggle with our CCA, numerous projects and the mountain of studying and homework (ok, I'm exaggerating a bit), but we CAN DO IT.

So be spontaneous, people! Raise your hands and shout the answers in class! Can you believe than 1/1 '08 are outmatching us! (Their class is unbelievably organised, I wonder how they do it) Doesn't matter if 1 + 1 = 109! Be more outgoing and responsive! :)

So, on Monday,

please bring for CNY:

1. whatever decorations you have at home. and can spare.

2. 1 orange each. we're planning to do it like last year, and 2 oranges in the middle of the desk.

3. the SPECIAL part of the Straits Times on Sunday with the red cover. Which says "Chinese New Year". Not the lifestyle, the SPECIAL.

Hope everybody has had a great christmas break! We've had eight weeks of pure fun (or boredom, depending on where you stand). And in a couple of days, we have to go back to school. its the end of the year now.
and i just want to thank everyone in oneone for making this year such a wonderful one for me (: i would like everyone to know that oneone is a very very special class and that we rock forever!hahahahahaha

as you might have noticed,our class wasn't exactly united in the start,but look where we are now,we have come so far.from a 6th place to 2nd place.i'm really proud of our class!there's some room for improvement though (: i'm sure that we can do it!

although we will be going to the same class next year,i still feel pretty sad because we had great teachers this year who helped us to achieve those good results and i want to say thank you to all of them.i'll never forget mrs helen tan's innovative lessons as well as mrs tan AL's comments of how we are like inert gasses and rocks and sponges,etc :D

our class can be pretty crazy sometimes when the teachers are not around so let's show them that we can be crazy when they are around too! (but not so crazy that we forget to study and we become stupid and they do not think that we are smarty poops anymore.hm.i'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.oh well.)

this year was like a roller coaster because there were so many changes in my life.oneone was a completely new beginning for me because i did not have any of my good friends with me.now i realise that it did not matter because i have made so many great friends in this class.

i think that oneone should strive to be more united next year and we should learn to be there for each other all the time.we can be more bonded if we try & i bet that we can be the best of the best!

i'll cherish all the fantastic times we spent together as a class & i look forward to spending next year with all of you :D i love you oneone!

these were the best memories i've ever had :D

righty, since a number of the class has decided to blog extra long essays, i shall follow suit. be careful not to blind your eyes and take a break from the screen every 30-35minutes :D

to tell you the truth, i thought that 1/1 was a nightmare at the beginning of the year. i was thinking that i should have scored at least 10 marks lower so could i get out of this spirit-dead class and save my soul. the orientation preperation was not easy. i know i was taking charge of everything and i know loads of people didn't like that. i'm sorry if i made anybody hate me for doing that but at least we came up with a performance for the campfire BY OURSELVES unlike the class next to us >:D

haha, okay okay no rivalry in this blog. must be peace-loving people and stop global warming! did you know that in 43years' time, we'll have no more fish to eat unless you people decide to turn to eating whales and starfishes. aaaaand we're all gonna drown soon cuz the dratted icebergs just keep melting and we're all 100km within the coast so yeah. save your lives people and ESCAPE FROM THE END OF THE WORLD! :O

but yes, the orientation sort of made a really bad impression on the spirit of this class. i thought (like mr tan's "wise" words) that we had all the brains anyone could ever wish for, but stone cold hearts all lay within us. ): i half wanted to give up hoping for a better class until...

OUR FIRST NETBALL CARNIVAL!!! ahh... the good ol' memories

our class showed so much spirit no one would have ever believed that we actually refused to scream during the orientation. ;D but yeah, i guess since we had so much brains, we all knew when to show the right spirit at the right times. so our support all paid off and the dance is history, let us not dwell upon that.

however, our whining didn't get us anywhere. & i shall not trigger any flashbacks for you poor souls.

all in all, i really think that we DID mature in a lot of ways and of course became smarter >:D i feel that throughout the year, 1/1 was learning to develop a passion for the class and it's unity and we all managed to come out of it victorious, as a class. we (despite some divisions in class) are all about togetherness and standing by each other, believing in our own values and of course not letting that get into the way of bonding with each other.

i do believe that mrs helen tan of course played a very big role in teaching us to make new friends (however forceful she was being) and this resulted in bigger cliques, meaning that more people were NOT being left out anymore :D I, myself, have made new friends even from other schools and also found out that though angela may seem the most pervertic person in the class, she knows when to be hardworking and she knows when to be serious. i know i wasnt being very nice to her at the beginning of the year but now, i feel that we should all try to learn and be like her, minus the super big ego that she's got :D

angela is spirited and she's always happy. i've never really seen her sad or frustrated before and she's always looking on the bright side of life. yup, i think she's gonna be someone i'm gonna look up to when i'm learning to mature even more. big surprise yeah? haha..

anyway, more about the class before all this gets into her head. i'd like to thank everyone individually but that'd take up like the entire blog or something so i'll just give everybody this HUGE BIG HUGGY that you all deserve! :D you've all added something into my life, insignificant as it may be, but it's still something & i appreciate all of you for who you are :D

i'd like to thank Chloe esp, for being such a wonderfully responsible class chairperson and always being able to control the class and of course, saving the class from trouble :D thanks for always reminding us about our stupid competitions and for trying to be sarcastic but ending up being the funniest anyway. hahaha, so yeah. i'm glad i got to know you a little better this year and i'm seriously upset that you'll have to leave next year :( please tell us the date of your departure so we can ALL go to the airport and see you off :D you're the best dude!

THANK YOU 1/1 for making my start in secondary school a fantastic one which also encourages me to continue persevering towards my O's and not give up. you guys are one of the best i've known and i hope we'll continue to stick together and who knows? we may even have a class reunion 20 years down the road and maybe fausta tan would have been married by then :O

yup, so that's the end of MY long essay and i hope to see everybody nice and thin next year. PLEASE DON'T GAIN ANY WEIGHT or my heart will break. we must all try to STAY FIT during the hols and DONT' PIG OUT unless it's absolutely necessary, after which you all have to work out the fats man! stay healthy and smart and don't rot at home and don't die of anything. i want to be able to see everybody in one piece next year and NOT MISSING ANY BODILY PARTS! :D

Nothing lasts forever,

How fast the year goes by! I still remember the first day of school, when everyone didn't know each other & we were so quiet and now, the last day of school is over. There were big changes over the year, new friendships, old friendships remade, broken friendships fixed. New subjects, new teachers, new classrooms, new books, new everything. Now it all seems so familiar to us, complaining about homework, hanging out with each other, mugging for exams, etc.

At first, I was disappointed, but not surprised, to be in 1/1. All my best friends were in other classes & I was afraid of being lonely. Though now when I think back, I realise there was nothing to be disappointed about. Making new friends, leaving things behind are all part of life. And I'm grateful to have been put in 1/1 after all, because I made really close friends, as well as got to know alot of people I never would have met if I hadn't been in 1/1. I was never really lonely either - there was always someone to talk to. For that, I thank everyone in 1/1 for just being there, even if I never talked to you much. Because even the littlest thing any of you have done for me really means alot to me.

In 1/1, I learnt many things I wouldn't have learnt if I had been another class. We had the best teachers anyone could ever ask for & for that I am immensely thankful. I'll never forget the fun history lessons we had with Mr Fausta Tan, during which we spent half the time talking, cracking lame jokes (okay only Mr Tan did this, haha) etc. All the other lessons were also great fun, with Mrs Tan Aye Leng, who was always so caring and fashionable (heehee) and taught us to be rockets not rocks, Mrs Helen Tan, who made us mix around and bond with each other, Ms Shanthi, who always made lit lessons x100000000 entertaining and productive, plus all our other teachers, Mrs Vincent, Mrs Wong, Mrs Lee, Mr Armstrong, Ms Ng, Zhang Lao Shi, Kang Lao Shi, Mrs Zailee, Mrs Nicks and Ms Chua. I have to admit, strict as some of them were, I learnt alot from them and I'm very grateful to them. Thank you teachers! :)

Lastly, I think 1/1 '07 is PRETTY DAMN AWESOME :D Though everyone didn't know each other at first and everyone had their own cliques etc, I'm really glad we managed to work together in the end and win competitions like the Chinese New Year decorations as well as interclass tournaments like Class Banner, Captain's Ball, Netball, etc! :) Though I agree winning isn't important, it does prove how much we can cooperate and how much class spirit we have.

Alright i rarely blog here. So.. Wait what am i here for?
OH right. Okay i'm just here to say that i'll really miss this year okay.
I think being in this class has helped me grow and mature a lot(emotionally). Okay i'm still a little childish. But its fun okay! So anyway... i think what mr tan said yesterday was so touching i wanted to cry :( And well what i really wanted to say yesterday was that i think you guys even though you study and all and people think we're a mugger class, thats not entirely true... I mean yes we do study. But there're also really retarded people like choonkhee and baoyi who tried to give me and kelly drugs. tsk tsk. And i'll never forget how we sat in the canteen in the beginning of the year somewhere round there and just laughed for dunno howwwww long about ahem ahem *cough cough* seeds, papayas, watermelon... AHEM.

I remember the first day of school... In the hall. Oh yes. The list pasted on the whiteboard said i was going to 1/1. Initially, i was surprised. Yes i was. I thought i was going to 1/2. Well anyways, i was kinda how do you say this.. Disappointed that i was separated from my best friends, but happy that i was in the smart class (wooooo!). Well yeah.. And the only friends i had were Yunlu and Julvian who had their own friends.. So whoopee do. Poor old pearlene was all alone. Okay this is turning into story of pearlene's first day in 1/1. But this isn't about me okay. This is about the amazing oneoners who befriended me :D Well so i guess what i'm trying to say is... err if there are any lonely oneone souls out there... just know i'm here for you okay (:

Oh yes and you guys have made me learn a lot. Seriously... One of the things i'm most thankful for is... You guys made me realise that you can't sit for an exam without at least even looking through the textbook once. Haha. And i wanna thank those peepos who encouraged me when i was down and told me i'm not stupid :D

Honestly, i don't know how next year is gonna be. And i'm kinda dreading it... cause i'm scared ___ will be our lit teacher. I'll seriously miss miss shanthi's HOOHAA-ness. HAHAH miss miss. sorry hehe. And i'll miss mr tan's lameness, Mrs tanAL's motherly-ness (and how she pulled out the whole plant and dumped it in our bin), Mrs helen tan's creative and innovative ways of helping us learn (Ms natural vegetation!), Mr armstrong.. ooh he has a sharp tongue! Kang lao shi.. who says my chinese has no standard!! hmph but she offered to help me with my chinese (: And many many other teachers.

hey you know what... i think at the end of the year, all of us have bloomed... oh wait no.. rocketed into rockets! sounds funny... nevermind. I think we're ready to put rockets on our class tees next year!! woopee dooo! (Please don't take that long to get the designs done next year. And don't get man-sized shirts!!) Alright now even though we're always compared to 1/1 '05, hey we're we and they're they. I think we're an extraoadinary class!!

Lastly, (yes i know i'm longwinded) I'LL MISS CHOOCHOOBEE OUR CLASS CHAIRPERSON!

Hello everyone!Our sec 1 year has come to an end.How does everyone feel?Sad?I do.I really don't want it to end.It's been such a great year.I was being serious when I said it's probably best school year I've ever had.We had great teachers,great classmates,lots of fun and I did well.I did better than I ever expected.When I first came to 1/1 from 1/2 I felt very stupid because we had just gotten our PSLE results and I was feeling down.Then when our CA1 results came back I thought many people would have gotten all A1s because my results were always average in primary school.Then when I found out I topped the class,I was really shocked.Never in my life had I ever dreamt of topping my class.Especially in sec 1!It's amazing and that's one of the reasons why this year is so good.
Another reason is the teachers.Man we had some really great teachers!Mrs Tan Aye Leng,Mrs Helen Tan,Miss Shanthi and so on.Even though they did scold us and had really weird lesson plans,I learnt a lot.My science in primary school was lousy but now it's good.And I really learnt a lot about geog.I never thought I would do so well in anything.I really really want to thank all our teachers because I am really really grateful to them because I would never have gotten my results without them and the results really mean a lot to me because I have never ever been close to top in my life.It's quite overwhelming.I did thank Mrs Tan Aye Leng when I returned her the books that were in J301 then she whacked my butt with the books.Even though she was smiling,she whacked my butt!
Our class this year was great too.Even though we started out really inert and separate, we've managed to bond and become more lively and responsive.We could still bond more,but I think we've improved a lot.We must continue to improve next year and beat 1/2!Haha...just joking.It's not about who we beat and getting first.It's about having fun, doing our best and being satisfied with it.I think our class is made up of really great people too.I have yet to get to know quite a few people well but I think our class is great overall.Now I need ot go sleepy sleepy because my eyes are closing.

Footwork
Land on either one foot or both feet
If you land on one foot, you cannot move that foot, but you can pivot using the other foot

POSITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Each position has a main role to play:
GS To score goals and to work in and around the circle with the GA
GA To feed and work with GS and to score goals
WA To feed the circle players giving them shooting opportunities
C To take the Centre Pass and to link the defence and the attack
WD To look for interceptions and to prevent the WA from feeding the circle
GD To win the ball and reduce the effectiveness of the GA
GK To work with the GD and to prevent the GS from scoring goals

Hi everyone!For all those playing netball on monday who don't know the rules, here they are:
Netball Rules :D

Footwork
Land on either one foot or both feet
If you land on one foot, you cannot move that foot, but you can pivot using the other foot
If you land on both feet, you can choose which foot you want as your landing foot
If a stepping is made, the opponent gets a free pass

Free pass
The opponent gets to throw the ball from where the foul was committed
Takes place when there is stepping, replay, off side and more I think but I can’t remember haha just do it if the umpire says free pass lah :)

Penalty
The opponent gets to throw the ball from where the foul is committed
Takes place when there is contact by a player on an opponent
The player who contacted her opponent has to stand beside the thrower
Once the ball is released, the played who made contact can resume defending etc.

Penalty pass or shot
The opponent gets to either pass the ball to another player or shoot
Takes place when there is contact within the goal circle
The opponent contacted (must be shooter) can choose to either throw out of the goal circle or shoot from where she is
DON’T BE STUPID AND WASTE IT, SHOOT :D
The player who contacted the opponent has to stand by the opponent’s side until she has released the ball

Replay

This $9 consists of Literary Harvest ( which is $2.20 and Mrs V. wants it by Monday) and the remainder is for the math booklets we got. ( we still got a whole lot of math booklets to pay up for, rmb! the last one you guys paid up was for MENSURATION. Man!! That booklet was given to us a month or more ago!) So, after paying this $9, I think we would have cleared all our debts, well, I THINK. I think you guys won't have to pay for the math booklets anymore, if you pay this $9, unless somehow, Mrs. Lee brings up the price=_=. Just let you're pocket break a hole....just this once, we have alot of debts you see, according to Mrs. Lee, Ms Chua( who photocopies all the math booklets ) is missing $56. Aiyoh. But nvm, just bring that $9 okay?

And PLEASE do not complain. This is to pay up ON MONDAY. $9 is not alot, considering the amount of stuff we haven't paid the teachers for.

Yo People!

Okay, this is kinda important, cuz apparently we owe the teachers alot of money.
Firstly, you all have to, HAVE TO pay me that two dollars class fund thing. It is to pay up for the $75.60 that we owe Mrs Jenny Lee ( Math booklets, mensuration onwards ). Then we have to pay for the Literature Harvest thingi, we have to pay for ANOTHER set of worksheets that Sarah printed ( Math SA2 2006 paper) and Mr Tan wants the Pizza money by MONDAY ( aiyoh, like loan shark ). Yes, I know it sounds like alot, because it IS alot. So anyway, those who haven't paid me that $2, MUST. MUST. MUST. Bring tomorrow. MUST. If not you have to pay extra:) joking. I am totally thirding (thirding?!) what Grace said. Hello?! Mr Tan?! EARTH TO PLUTO EARTH TO PLUTO. What the hell is wrong with him? History supplementary is absolutely REDUNDANT and UNNECESSARY! I mean, seriously speaking, what's there to teach during history? All he does is go through the stupid textbook and summarises everything there is to summarise! Gah I totally agree with Grace! I mean why would ANYONE need history supplementary (I am NOT calling it remedial. We do NOT need remedial)? All you have to do is memorise facts. Is he planning to teach us how to memorise the textbook or something? I NEED GEOGRAPHY TUITION. Majority of the class's history is better than geography, shouldn't we be asking for geography supplementary tuition instead?! Tsk. Okay whatever, plus we have chinese oral tomorrow which I haven't studied for & I haven't done drama either so now I'm kind of at the point of suicidal. UGH. It cannot be true that we are having history supplementary. I don't see why *groan*. If we needed supplementary, I would definitely need geography. Not history! I wonder what we'll be doing anyway. It's not as if he teaches us. We found our history workbooks, thank goodness. It was sitting in the dusty smelly cupboard down in R106 along with our award-winning Chinese New Year decorations and an incredibly huge file full of useful english notes that Mrs Vincent should give us. Mr Tan "claimed" that he knew it was there the whole time but we think he is lying. *sigh* The workbook is so clean and still smells new. He didn't even mark it!

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival. (How do you say that in Chinese?) Is anybody going for the celebration? It's so weird that it's after school. I won't be able to understand anything *sigh*. Hillary would have to translate everything for me, haha. Hope we win the contest!

The exams are coming up, good luck! (exams are always coming up, the sad part about school) Don't be so stressed, why is everybody so stressed? You should watch a comedy or something. Finally, when Stumpy and Martha are both about 70 years old, Stumpy looks to Martha, and says, "Martha, I'm 70 now, and I don't know if I'll ever get the chance again, so I just have to have a ride in that there airplane." Martha replies in the same old fashion, and Stumpy kind of slumps down. The pilot is standing near by and overhears the conversation...
The pilot pipes up, "Excuse me folks, I couldn't help but hear your situation, and I have a deal for you. I'll take both of you up together, and if you can both make the entire trip without saying a word, or even making the slightest sound, I'll give the ride for free. But if either of you make a sound, its $10 each." Well, Martha and Stumpy look at each other, and agree to take the ride.
The pilot takes them up, and starts to do loop de loops, twists, dives, climbs and spins. No sound. The pilot lands the plane, looks back at Stumpy and says, "Sir, I have to hand it to ya, you didn't make even the slightest sound and that was my best stuff." Stumpy looks back at the pilot and says, "Well, I was gonna say something when Martha fell out, but $10 is $10!"

After being with her all evening, the man couldn't take another minute with his blind date. Earlier, he had secretly arranged to have a friend call him to the phone so he would have an excuse to leave if something like this happened.When he returned to the table, he lowered his eyes, put on a grim expression and said, "I have some bad news. Well Mrs. Smith was taken back by what she heard from these girls and replied, "I don't know how you find him to be so gifted at teaching you this course. You know he only tried it twice in his life. The first time he tried it, he got sick, and the second time, his hat blew off and he just quit."

A taxi passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question. The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on the footpath, and stopped centimetres from a shop window. For a second everything went quiet in the cab, then the driver said, "Look mate, don't ever do that again. You scared the daylights out of me!" The passenger apologized and said, "I didn't realize that a little tap would scare you so much. "The driver replied, "Sorry, it's not really your fault. Today is my first day as a cab driver. I've been driving a funeral van for the last 25 years."(._.)

haha it was so fun on the bus. we kept on talking about leng qi (aircon) and re qi (that apparently chien wen said was behind her). angela said i had a fever =.='' and said that i was emitting hot air. then i told chien wen the hot air behind her was penetrating through her. haha we were so lame. then the bus jerked and we all jumped in our seats. {angela, can u imagine what would have happened if you had flew out of that centre seat and rolled down the bus :D LOL} then we finally reached.
and we were like having BORING skating lessons.
we were so silly :S
then the instructor was like 'you can skate why don't you go' then i looked at him and said i was scared.
gosh. silly me.

Hey. I'm val. Today was quite an interesting day. We learnt about chinese culture from this china guy. Most of us barely understood what he was talking about. Our chinese doesn't suck that bad! It's just his really strong accent! Anyway the first part before recess, he was kind of teaching us stuff and writing things on the board. Vanessa and I & Lisa and Pearlene were doing the 'find as many words as you can from one word' game. I don't know the name of that game. We did 'encyclopedia'. (sarah: i checked the dictionary; there's only one 'a'.) yar. anyway. Vanessa found like 115 and I only found like 84! Then Lisa wanted to beat Vanney. So Laura helped Lisa and they ended being a team, and Vanney and I put together ours. I don't know who had more words in the end, but it sure was a lot of FUN! We drew and painted these chinese masks things. And everyone drew the white parts and joint the eyebrow thingies together. Except for me... And then we all chose the nicest FIVE! And there was Rochelle's and Pinkie's and Chien Wen's and Laura's and (someone i can't remember at the moment, sorry!). But those masks were really really really nice!! We have great artists man! Later on, some people tried the big china kimono-looking dress thing. And it was really HUGE! Hahaha. I still remember Natalie and Sarah... They looked so adorable :D And then there were those sword thingies. Pearlene and Shi pei tried. I thought they were pretty good at it. The swords looked fun! Hahaha. Anyway it was quite a fun lesson, though i still think that the retreat yesterday was funner! Wheeeee... Such a pity. We have to get back our papers tomorrow... :0 okay then. byebye :)

yep. And im in the huggy mode today. Sarah DOES squeeze quite hard, considering the fact that shes tall and im taller. Heh. But i went around hugging ppl, trying to build up my weak squeezing skills. Heh. And dont worry Kelly. We WILL get you the guitar book. On wednesday. SO NEXT TIME YOU CAN UPGRADE YOURSELF AND PLAY THE ELECTIRIC GUITAR!!!!!! YEA ROCK ON!* strums the electric guitar but breaks one of the strings by accident. ACCIDENT.* i just aint fit for electric guitar i guess. BUT KELLY, DO TRY DRUMS THEY TOTALLY ROCK!!!!!!!!!! i would have continued my drum lessons IF only band would not fall on a saturday morning. SIGHs. And i had a LONG nap today. A three hr one to be exact. I just fell asleep. After lunch, i was trying to memorise the music notes of the saxophone[DANG ITS HARD=(] and i just plonked onto bed and *snaps finger once* im asleep! COOL YEA? but whilst I was asleep, i swear someone was touching my toes. Hmmmmm..... OH YAR! i watched spiderman on sunday, it was really sad. I cried. Even though i knew harry was gonna die, i just cried. He died so sadly, BUT spiderman cried so funnily i tell you! He was trembling his lips-HAHAHAHAHAHA. everybody had a nice retreat today? you better have had a nice one cuz tomorrow we're moving on to CHINESE CULTURE. *organ plays*
yepyep, everybody got emotional today, even ME! well, i only cried during the prayer thing cuz i was thinking of how much it applied to me and how much i was keeping all my feelings in and caging it up. besides that, i don't think i cried anymore. quite surprising cuz i thought i would be pouring and pouring out tears of sorrow and all that rubbish.
just a word of advice: DO NOT HUG SARAH TOH
okay lah...just joking lah. but seriously. she doesn't HUG. she SQUEEZES. reminds me of a cobra. wouldn't want to keep a species of HER in MY house. i'll die of suffocation cuz she squeezed me too hard. *strangled look*
when i came home, the stupid dang-ed lift wasn't working. so i had to go and xinxinkuku take the other lift and walk down to my house. HEY! climbing stairs are probably the worst exercise EVER. you know why? cuz it damages your KNEES. and when you grow old, you'll have BAD knees and you'll regret climbing stairs for the rest of your life! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!
ANYWAY, after reaching home, i pressed the doorbell. what do you expect to hear? DINGDONG right? WRONG. guess what i heard? *silence* yup *silence* guess why? CUZ THE STUPID MAINTANENCE WORKS WERE GOING ON that's why! yeah so NO electricity until 5. bleah, that sucked a lot. but THANK GOD they were done at about three so i could go online and rot instead of sitting down and staring at the guitar and rotting.
speaking of guitar, i managed to get my YL to lend me her guitar and now i'm waiting for SARAH and BEATRICE to get my 'how to play a guitar' book. HURRY UP AND GET IT kays? i'm depending on you people! =D soooo...soon i'll be JAMMING with the music group at YF or now as it is called, (sigh) STAR. aka STudents at Adam Road. so sad. now i will see more stars everyday. bleah bleah bleah.

Yesterday I was superdee fun right, & I bet all you people went gallivanting around town too. We didn't go orchard though. Orchard's so boring now. Like Heeren, Cineleisure, Far East, blah. So yeah. ANYWAY. Yesterday for me, was the bombzxzxzxzxz yo! :D Went out w clique + uh kelly at bugis, which was seriously awesome. regarding the post when this oneone issue was first brought up, which is kelly's post, i think that yeah, the class needs to sort of... bond better? in a sense, everyone has to give everyone a chance. we have to stop judging people based on one tiny mistake they made, or simply just because they are quiet in class. this doesn't help. of course, just like lisa and a few other people mentioned, we will always have our cliques. kelly is right though, we may not remain friends forever nor will we remain together forever with our cliques. but lisa has her point. we need people we can rely on. i mean, would you rather trust someone u have known since long time ago or some newcomer? and I personally don't think that the newcomers from other schools are the ones feeling left out. of course i'll never know if they don't tell me, but from what i see, it seems that way.

in every class, there are always cliques. we think another class is perfect. or so it seems to be. how do we know for sure that they are all not being emo under covers? i think expressing our true feelings on this blog is a good idea, at least we all will stop thinking that we are the only ones who are lonely and without any friends in oneone. honestly, who goes around showing that they are lonely in school? take kelly for example. (sorry if i offend you :p) i never knew that she was feeling left out by those 'popular' people until she posted.

but really. are u telling me that the whole world is equal? no. some people are not even as lucky as us to be able to go to school, get an education blah blah. and we are unhappy because we are not popular? L-O-L. of course some people may always feel left out... but have u even tried to blend in, i ask you? for one, i have never tried. why thirst for popularity when it is all just materialistic?

yea, now u look at my post and ask me. who do i side? my answer is nobody. i feel that oneone is just... dead.

ok enough about this. we shall TOTALLY FORGET THIS ISSUE AND LIKE EVERYONE.

i think its the exam stress
ive turned like...emo lately.
if u read some of my blog posts ive been really emo
i feel damn guilty for offending anybody with my posts on the tagboard just now
maybe i phrased it in a way that sounded wrong
maybe i was being selfish then
even though i try very hard to remember that others have feelings too
its difficult when im emo
i didn't mean that the loud mouthed people bullied the quiet people
i sort of meant something else.
i really didn't mean that
maybe its because ive been cooped up at home for too long
maybe i didn't really let my frustration out too.
i don't mean that the rest of you are not frustrated or stressed or not cooped up at home
but yeah, im a very cannot-be-stressed person
that may be why some of you dislike me
because you think im a bad girl
because i look like im not bothered when any teacher scolds me
but actually ive only been pretending and lying that im happy go lucky to myself
in reality i care a lot about it

but i just had to let it out
because im scared that if i don't i might collapse during the exams or something

i agree with vaney. i think cliques are all right. what's wrong with having a group of friends you KNOW you can trust and relie on when you need them? and hang out with.. i love my clique. because i know i can fall back on them.
we don't mix around, yes. i agree. but so? does EVERY class mix around? there are bound to be cliques, no matter how GREAT the other one ones were.
why is all this crap happening? because of one person's "depression"? like wth? i LIKE chien wen and chin yen. ther're so nice. and smart. and reliable.
maybe those who feel left out should be nicer! not so mean, sarcastic. if you're hated, there's a reason. wth la... like somewhere that i read in this blog. stop wallowing in self pity.. change, if you want to be "accepted". OMG i sound like agony aunt. -.- alright.
